MONITORED CENTRAL BATTERY SYSTEM , the system now offers
several advantages over other systems but namely that the system output
is 220Vde. When using electronic ballasts the fittings will see no change
in light output – Yes less fittings per floor as you get 100%
output from the Light fittings.
Other advantages are that the batteries can be installed on each floor,
with overall monitoring still available, easy programming. This system
is used widely in Europe and has been for many years; just of late they
have won the emergency lighting for the Bangkok Airport with over 2,000
fittings.
