On 1 March 2010 Danfoss introduced a distribution model for sale of Speed Drives & Soft Starters. We have selected four familiar Regional Sales Partners in the automation market who have local knowledge, quality service and local stocking capability.
Ellis & Co., iTac and Hamer have been appointed as Authorised Distributors to complement our long standing Service Partners, JLE and Prolec.
Danfoss has listened to our customers. Through this network we have more than doubled our representation in the market allowing you the contact you require. Importantly we have create the role of Country Manager putting autonomy back in the local market. I am delighted to take up the role and look forward to working with you the customer, the skilled Danfoss staff and our well established Regional Sales Partners (Authorised Distributors).

HIRSHMANN - INDUSTRIAL ETHERNET
Signal transmission systems company Belden has selected Ellisco as a local distributor for its Hirschmann industrial applications and Ethernet offerings.
Ellisco is an Auckland based specialised supplier of electrical and mechanical engineering equipment.
It joins two other local distributors including Maser who look after Belden cable and Soanar who distirbute Hirschmann connectors.
Belden's ANZ regional manager Adam Callender says New Zealand is an important market and it selected Ellisco due to its technical expertise.
“We wanted to partner with a company that has the technical background to support products such as switches, firewalls and WiFi. Ellisco is also a dedicated distributor with national coverage, which was an important prerequisite in their selection,” he says.
Ellisco national sales manager Douglas Oliver says it will offer support to customers and sell Hirschamnn with similar products from vendors including Cavotec and Pilz.
